About the event
The Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA) is one of the legal foundation stones for social workers and all health and social care practitioners working with adults and young people.
Our legal masterclass will help you achieve the knowledge and understanding you need to confidently work with people with capacity issues.
The day comprises an update on the MCA, as well as examining how case law translates into practice when looking at capacity in relation to people:
• with hoarding disorder;
• who have executive functioning issues;
• who are being deprived of their liberty;
• who engage in sexual activity and/or want to marry.
